Dr. Youjia Li, the Director of Research and Development at Leman Biotech, was invited to participate in the prestigious 2023 Guangzhou Cell Therapy Summit held on February 15-16. During the conference, Dr. Li delivered a keynote speech and engaged in insightful discussions with fellow experts on the development, challenges, and solutions in the field of immune cell therapy.

Leman Biotech has been granted approval from the First Affiliated Hospital of University of Science and Technology of China to conduct an Investigator-Initiated Trial (IIT) clinical study of Meta10-19 injection for the treatment of relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (r/r DLBCL) (NCT05715606). The company has now announced the recruitment of patients for this study.

Leman Biotech and the team led by professor Xingbing Wang, Director of the First Affiliated Hospital of University of Science and Technology of China (Anhui Provincial Hospital), reached a clinical trial cooperation agreement on "Clinical Trial Study on the Safety and Efficacy of Metabolism-enhanced CD19 CAR-T Cell Injection in the Treatment of Relapsed or Refractory Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma". The two parties have formally signed a cooperation agreement to establish a clinical project partnership and jointly promote multi-center IIT clinical research of metabolism-enhanced CAR-T cell therapy.

On December 9-10, 2022, Professor Chen Li, Vice President of the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology and Director of the Key Laboratory of Quantitative Engineering Biology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, led a delegation to visit the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), where the core technology of Leman Biotech was developed.
