On March 8, 2023, Leman Biotech was invited to participate in the EPFL Engineering Industry Day at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). This event, which was interrupted for three years due to the Covid-19 epidemic, is finally back at the Swiss Science and Technology Conference Center this year. The event aims to showcase the research and innovation capabilities of the EPFL School of Engineering, its collaboration with the industry, and the transfer of research technology, as well as its social impact.
Leman Biotech was chosen as a successful case of EPFL School of Engineering’s technology transfer, Prof. Li Tang, the co-founder of Leman Biotech was invited to give a keynote speech for the Health Technology section of the event. Prof. Tang Li shared the innovation journey of Leman Biotech with the participants and demonstrated the breakthroughs achieved by Leman Biotech in cancer immunotherapy and the cutting-edge AI-enabled metabolism-enhanced immunotherapy.
The conference attendees consisted of academia (professors, postdocs, and PhDs) and industry professionals (CTOs, R&D scientists, R&D managers, innovation managers). The event fully facilitated the exchange between researchers from academia and industry by setting up company booths and conducting thematic roundtables, enabling both parties to pursue collaboration opportunities.
